Welcome to Who Is Blank Blog! We are a blog that showcases emerging musicians. Specialising in pop, indie, rock, jazz, and R&B but open to almost all genres! At the blog, we post weekly 'new music' showcases on a Wednesday on Instagram and TikTok. These posts let fans of emerging talent know what releases they should listen to that coming week, as well as giving musicians a spotlight for their upcoming work. Over on TikTok, we run a series of our favourite small artists, which often gets 10k views. This has allowed us and other music fans to find new artists they might have missed otherwise. We are extremely active on our socials and have a combined reach of 116k. On the blog, we post reviews, features, and interviews. We love reviewing and speaking to new talent and really encourage submissions. As well as our social content and articles, we showcase our favourite releases on Future Hits Radio. Every 2 weeks, Sinead Cochrane (the editor) delves into the best releases and shares them with the nation. The submitted tracks often end up on the station's A-list and get added to daily rotation. The station has also brought back the Future Hits Top 40. This monthly chart showcases the very best music from across the station, voted by the listeners!! You can tune into Who Is Blank on Future Hits every other Thursday, 3 - 5 pm (UK). But if you miss the show, it is available on demand on Mixcloud. Finally, our monthly playlist. The monthly faves feature 30 of the best songs released that month. It covers a range of genres from pop to rock to R&B.
