I'm a blogger looking for House or Metalcore tracks. Please provide a full press release (at least 250 words) if you would like to be featured! Thanks! My journey to becoming a music blogger was not a straightforward one. I began as a regular blogger on a small local tv station's website, where I was supposed to focus on sharing my thoughts on the absurdity of society. However, when my friends in local bands started sharing their shows on MSN Messenger, I decided to use the platform I had to share their shows and new music. Years later, I became known as "Jersey Girl In Canada" on a Toronto-based online radio station called Jamsterdam Radio. I attended local shows and asked bands if they wanted to do interviews via voice notes on my phone. However, I occasionally interviewed bands who provided anticlimactic one-word answers, so I gave up interviewing and focused on reviewing. After my time at the radio station, I worked on tour with Rock bands in the United States, returned to Canada, and started my own music blog, which you see today. I cover songs from artists of all levels with a primary focus on EDM and Hard Rock - as long as I dig the tune! January 2023: I have a *NEW* radio station, Hypernova Radio, where we play EDM, Hard Rock, Metalcore, Slap House, Tech House, Drum and Bass, etc. The player is on the right side of each page of my blog site. September, 2023: I am currently focused on Slap House and Melodic Metal, but I do love discovering other music, as well and will be accepting Alt Rock, Indie Rock, etc. May 2025: I am redirecting and moving my blogs to the Hypernova Radio site, to increase visibility for all shared songs, as well as the shows we air. If approved for blog coverage, please note I take a few weeks to publish write-ups, as I do work as a Publicist/SEO/SMM during the day, and I prefer to write mindful reviews when I share music on my blog. That being said: upon approval, please provide a press release with some background on the artist and song in order to beef up reviews.
