I’m a passionate independent playlist curator with a love for discovering exciting new music, championing emerging talent, and supporting artists within the indie and alternative rock scene. My main focus is indie rock, although I’m always open to alternative influences, acoustic sounds, and tracks that bring something fresh and distinctive to the genre. Ultimate Indie Summer Drive. For songs that are upbeat indie rock from any country with a driving beat and makes you think of those long summer days. What I’m looking for: I love discovering music that makes an immediate impression, whether that’s through powerful guitars, infectious melodies, meaningful lyrics, or a unique sound. The bigger the better when it comes to the chorus. I personally listen to every submission and consider each track based on its quality, impact, and suitability for my playlists. I don’t tend to add instrumental songs or ones that have lots of swearing. When a song really connects with me, I’m happy to give it a prominent position on the most suitable playlist. Placement depends on how strongly the track resonates and how well it complements the overall sound. I usually add songs for 3-4 weeks My aim is to support great independent music, help deserving artists gain exposure, and introduce listeners to their next favourite band or artist. If you’re making authentic indie or alternative music with something to say, I’d love to hear it.
