Bio and how they support artists
Bio
I'm Yana Karapetyan, an A&R Manager with nearly a decade of experience in the music industry. Since 2016, I’ve worked closely with emerging and established artists, helping them craft their sound, build their visual identity, and navigate the evolving music landscape with purpose and authenticity.
I provide honest, strategic feedback on everything from song structure and vocal delivery to creative direction and career positioning. I’m passionate about helping artists tap into their full potential and connect with the right audiences, teams, and opportunities.
Genres & Moods I'm Looking For
I’m open to working with artists across all genres — what matters most to me is the intention behind the music and a clear sense of identity. Whether it's alt-pop, R&B, folk, techno, experimental hip-hop, or classical crossovers, I'm drawn to artists who are serious about their craft and ready to grow.
I'm especially excited by music that evokes emotion, tells a story, or challenges the norm — anything bold, sincere, or boundary-pushing.
Restrictions / Dislikes
I'm not genre-exclusive, but I’m selective when it comes to artist mindset. I love working with people who are serious about building a career, open to feedback, and committed to evolving. I’m less interested in short-term thinkers or those who aren’t fully invested in their artistic journey.
