Hi, I’m Riley — 33, music nerd through and through. I’ve been obsessed with sound since I was a kid. Picked up the bass when I was ten, and from there it never really stopped. Music’s been the thing that’s shaped pretty much everything I do. I spend a lot of time at gigs, usually with my camera. I love catching smaller bands doing their thing — the raw energy, the nerves, the chaos, all of it. There’s something special about seeing artists before the world discovers them. I try to translate that feeling in photos, playlists, and the music I share. Every now and then I DJ, but it’s usually just for friends. For me, it’s all about discovering tracks that make people stop and ask, “Wait, who’s this?” Last year I hit 90,272 minutes on Spotify and yeah, I’m weirdly proud of it. My favourite thing in the world is finding a new artist who completely floors me — the kind of song that makes you replay it five times in a row. That’s why I want to start curating: to share those discoveries and give upcoming artists a bit more of the spotlight they deserve. There’s so much great music that slips under the radar, and I want to give some of those tracks a bit more attention. I’ve spent years digging through different genres, going to small shows, and sharing the songs that move me — not as a critic, but as someone who just really cares about music. What I bring is a genuine ear for what feels real. I’m not chasing trends or perfect production — I’m drawn to songs with heart, groove, and a story behind them. I’ll always listen with an open mind, and when I can, I’ll share honest feedback from both a musician’s and listener’s point of view. At the end of the day, I just want to help artists get heard and connect their music with people who’ll really get it.
