On air for 10 years, every Sunday at 2pm with a rerun every Thursday at midnight, we have the Sons do Brasil program on Rádio USP FM, 93.7 in São Paulo, 107.9 in Ribeirão Preto and for the world at www. jornal.usp.br/radio, and by Rádio Brasil Atual FM, 98.9 also from São Paulo, in addition to being retransmitted to Aracajú (SE) by Rádio Internova, Santa Maria (RS) by Rádio Bloco, Londrina (PR) by Alma Londrina Rádio Web, São Paulo (SP) by Rádio Baruk FM, Lima (Peru) by Bossa Nova Perú Rádio, to Joinville (SC) by Radio and TV Joinville Web, to Rio de Janeiro (RJ) by Rádio Graviola and by Rádio Cabaré, to Petrópolis (RJ) Radio Atividade 860, to Baixada Fluminense (RJ) by Grupo RBC de Rádio, to São Paulo by MKK Web Rádio and Rádio Alta Frequencia, Miranda do Corvo (Portugal) by Radio Dueça FM, Shiga (Japan) by Rádio Shiga, Mexico City (Mexico) by Rádio Azteca Independdiente and by Radio Golden State (California - USA) with the best of independent music and the new values ​​of the Brazilian music scene. After being broadcast, the program is available for the public to listen to on the website www.sonsdobrasil.mus.br . With 521 editions produced, the program was awarded for three consecutive years with the PPM 2017, 2018 and 2019 (Prêmio Profissionais da Música) in the Convergência Modality - Radio Program Category as Best Radio Program of the Year, nominated for the APCA award in 2016 and in 2018 it won the APCA as Best Music Production for Radio of the Year, in addition to being considered one of the 21 best independent music programs in Brazil by the UBC (Brazilian Union of Composers) in 2016. The intention is to bring good music that is not available to the general public, creating this space for great new (or not) talents to present their work to people who like it and are looking for new things.
