District Eight Music Group is a music entertainment company based in Puerto Rico, dedicated to discovering, developing, booking, and promoting electronic music talent on a global scale. Operating through District Eight Records, the label has signed over 40 artists from around the world and continues to expand its roster with forward-thinking producers and DJs. The company also curates District Eight Sessions, a weekly online radio show and podcast that showcases guest mixes from international DJs. New episodes air every Friday on SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, offering artists global exposure through a high-quality listening platform. In addition to the label and radio show, District Eight Music Group actively books and produces curated events throughout Puerto Rico, with a focus on high-quality, genre-driven experiences. Events range from intimate daytime gatherings to club nights and branded takeovers, often hosted in San Juan, Arecibo, and coastal venues. D8MG organizes events monthly or bi-monthly, both independently and in collaboration with other collectives, venues, and cultural spaces. As a label, District Eight offers comprehensive support including mixing and mastering, cover design, distribution, promo kits, and access to a curated network of DJs and industry professionals. Submitted tracks may also be selected for DJ sets and live performances, as well as featured in radio show recordings — further increasing visibility. D8MG accepts demos year-round and is currently seeking submissions in the house and electronic genres, including deep house, afro house, melodic house, tech house, techno, and drum & bass. Tracks outside the electronic scope, such as dubstep, are not currently accepted. With over 25 years of combined industry experience, the team also offers mentorship and constructive feedback on areas like production, arrangement, mixing, mastering, and branding. D8MG supports both emerging and established talent, offering the tools, guidance, and performance platforms needed to grow sustainably in the music industry.
