Medellin born Deraout is known for an innovative sound and exciting sets, taking the audience on a wild ride through Techno music. He is defining Techno in every set and his contagious energy ensures an ecstatic experience. He is involved in many projects and being the resident of MUTE Medellin made him a striking artist of the Latin scene. He is also part of Native Instruments Artists Selection in LATAM and Co-Founder of the Colombian Techno Collective Intelligent Division. He’s released on numerous international labels such as Blank Code (Detroit), Sleaze Records (UK), Driving Forces (UK), Micro.Fon (Germany), GND Records (Germany), Refluxed Records, Bullet Records (Colombia) and Illegal Alien (Mexico). Meanwhile his podcast series Medellin Techno is getting more and more attention with thousands of subscribers on soundcloud where he invites inspiring artists from all over the world becoming a solid playlist of amazing mixes for the Techno lovers. In the last years Deraout has taking over international clubs and events like The Works in Detroit, Output in New York, Bar Americas in Mexico, Baum. Octava, La frequencia Violeta, Salon Amador. Sonorama in Colombia, Baum Festival and Baum Park Bogotá, Freedom Festival and Dreaming Festival in Medellin, Observe and Techno Warehouse in Miami. That gave him the chance to share the booth with international artists such as Oscar Mulero, Nina Kraviz, Rødhad, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Pfirter, Truncate, Marco Faraone, Sven Vath and many others. All his achievements where honored by winning in 2020 the price for “Best Latin American DJ of the Year” handed over by the jury of “The Latino Show Awards”. He is definitely one of the top leaders of the Latin American electronic music scene and stands for high values and diffusion of the Techno heritage.
