Shivelight is an audiovisual music discovery platform that promotes music from across the innovative ‘world fusion’ spectrum. We only accept music that combines elements of world music with electronic music. This will go on our 🐉 Shivelight playlist, which can include sub-genres such as World Fusion, Folktronica, Psydub, Tribal Dubstep, Global Bass, Organic House, Psybass, Ethnic Dub, etc. Our main Spotify playlist revolves around innovative world music; genuine cultural expression, texturally-intricate music, innovative fusion of organic elements and complex sound design, and avant-garde approaches to groove and song composition. Shivelight was founded in 2015 by DJ & music lover, Samaya, who now co-curates the platform alongside Baxtak, who is the founder & director of Outtallectuals musics label through which Shivelight is managed. Tracks approved will be added to the playlist (Shivelight) on the Top 20 for at least one month.
