Niche music from Italy 🇮🇹 Kallax Records nasce nel 2018 dall’esigenza di separare, all’interno di Faro Records, il comparto editoriale da quello prettamente discografico. Lo spirito è quello di produrre “musica per le nicchie”: progetti inediti per quel pubblico di ascoltatori attenti ed appassionati, che cerca produzioni e scopre il nuovo, preferibilmente su vinile. Kallax è il nome dello scaffale Ikea che i collezionisti di vinili di tutto il mondo scelgono storicamente per catalogare le proprie collezioni. Ma Kallax è anche una piccola cittadina svedese di 321 abitanti, la cui principale attrattiva turistica è il vicino aeroporto di Luleå. The Pier e Gulliver (Giò Sada) sono i primi due progetti interamente sviluppati da Kallax Records. 🇬🇧 Kallax Records was born in 2018 from the need to separate, within Faro Records, the publishing sector from the purely recording sector. The spirit is to produce "music for the niches": unpublished projects for that audience of attentive and passionate listeners, who are looking for productions and discover the new, preferably on vinyl. Kallax is the name of the Ikea shelf that vinyl collectors from all over the world historically choose to catalog their collections. But Kallax is also a small Swedish town of 321 inhabitants, whose main tourist attraction is the nearby Luleå Airport. The Pier and Gulliver (Giò Sada) are the first two projects entirely developed by Kallax Records.
