🇲🇽 Fermín Fortiz es un compositor, productor, arreglista, productor, educador y bajista nacido en la Ciudad de México que cuenta con más de 14 años de experiencia dentro de la industria de la música.
Como bajsia se ha especializado en interpretar jazz, funk, pop, músic latinoamericana y mexicana, R&B y soul, principalmente y ha colaborado con artistas tan diversos como Leonel García (Sin Bandera), Mon Laferte, Gloria Trevi, Juanes, David Aguilar, Iraida Noriega, DiegoMaroto, Jenny Beaujean, Barandela Big Band, Carlos Tercero Big Band, Roberto Verástegui y Enrique Nativitas, entre otros.
Graduado de la Escuela de Música DIM, Fortiz ha destacado también como maestro en diversas instituciones educativas e impartiendo cursos de música en línea. Ha participado en la rabación de más de 40 discos como músico de sesión y cuenta con 6 discos como solista: Fermín Fortiz, Bebé, Junio, Bebé Live, México y el más reciente, titulado Futuro Póximo. Su calidad como intérprete del bajo le ha valido ser elegido por las prestigiosas marcas Michael Tobias Design, Kings of Groove y Aguilar Amplificadores como artista patrocinado
🇬🇧 Fermín Fortiz is a composer, producer, arranger, producer, educator and bassist born in Mexico City who has more than 14 years of experience within the music industry.
As a bajsia he has specialized in interpreting jazz, funk, pop, Latin American and Mexican music, R&B and soul, mainly and has collaborated with artists as diverse as Leonel García (Sin Bandera), Mon Laferte, Gloria Trevi, Juanes, David Aguilar, Iraida Noriega, DiegoMaroto, Jenny Beaujean, Barandela Big Band, Carlos Tercero Big Band, Roberto Verástegui and Enrique Nativitas, among others.
A graduate of the DIM School of Music, Fortiz has also excelled as a teacher in various educational institutions and teaching online music courses. He has participated in the recording of more than 40 albums as a session musician and has 6 solo albums: Fermín Fortiz, Baby, June, Baby Live, Mexico and the most recent, entitled Future Póximo. His quality as a bass player has earned him being chosen by the prestigious brands Michael Tobias Design, Kings of Groove and Aguilar Amplifiers as a sponsored artist.
